My involvement
As a core team leader with Sleep in Heavenly Peace PA–Lock Haven, I help run public bed builds that turn lumber and volunteer effort into twin beds for local children who do not have beds of their own.
My work includes setting up saws, drills, sanding and staining stations, organizing the build floor, and coaching volunteers—many of them first-time tool users—so the work moves safely and efficiently.
